The level of know-how so far acquired in the field of maintenance services, together with the knowledge deriving from the civil and industrial construction sector, reconstruction and restoration activities and thanks to the presence of highly skilled human resources and modern technical equipments, have made it possible for C.P.F. EUROPA METALLI S.P.A.

The collaboration between C.P.F. Costruzioni S.p.A. and Europa Metalli S.p.A. dates back to 1971 (at that time S.M.I. S.p.A.) and is still on-going.

The recent and existing maintenance activities relate to service contracts regarding the plants in Fornaci di Barga and Campo Tizzoro.

Between 1996 and 2002 these service contracts have been carried out in Borgo Pinti, Florence.

1. FORNACI DI BARGA / CAMPO TIZZORO PLANTS

• The activity in these plants has been carefully developed thanks to the accurate use of our own personnel managed directly by the Fornaci di Barga office and by the C.P.F. office located internally to the Fornaci di Barga plant.


• At Fornaci di Barga, C.P.F. Costruzioni S.p.A. has personal human resources for a total of about thirty units, five of which are still fully dedicated to the plant (operating policies have always considered the use of dedicated personnel, eventually integrated in the case of special needs).


• The different types of intervention performed "in loco" have been definitely varied. In fact, they range from building maintenance (roof reparation, concrete spout, flooring, conductions, reinforcements, extc.) electrical maintenance, hydraulic maintenance (Rest Rooms, interventions on water leakages, sewage overhauling), and, finally, general service interventions (landscaping, material discharge, extc.).

2. FLORENCE HEAD OFFICE.

• The activity at the head office in Florence has been developed, using the same modalities, with CPF's own personnel resident in Florence and coordinated by CPF's central offices.


• The different types of intervention, in this specific case, were related to mechanical, cooling, electrical, telecomunication and irrigation systems' maintenance.


• Besides what we have cited so far, the activity also included the management and coordination of services supplied by other companies directly selected by Europa Metalli.


• A customers' analytical update of the above cited services was made possible thanks to the use of an adequate reporting activity in line with the specific legislation in force.

ESSELUNGA S.P.A.

• Ordinary and extraordinary construction maintenance activities of the Esselunga Shopping Centers located in Tuscany and in neighbouring regions and of the plants located in Via Pistoiese, Florence.
